Officially CLOSE because rapidshare’s new rule is a retard.
Now, they made 1 premium account download limit to only 80 gigabyte per month or 2.66GB per day. That is absurd.

Ill open this again if rapidshare lift the premium accounts download quota.

i have that problem too and i think it’s only occurring sometimes not always. what i do is download one file on rapidshare and download here the rest.

I found that too in Safari on mac os leopard. I found that it is Safari 3 that is the problem. Safari 2 (on Tiger) works fine. My solution: use safari 2 or use Firefox - both fix it.

Sorry but, even after checking the slot alter and having free slots, the server says that all the accounts have used all the accounts have been used up, but I still see people who can download! (the slot alterer keeps rising to reach limit again)

i don’t get it, the slots alerter is continuously updating (just 17/35)but after clicking the DL button it says that:

Sorry, but all rapidshare accounts have been used up.
Each of them have 10GB limit eper day.
Wait sometime/day for them to get reset.

if you see that error, ignore that slots.
all accounts’ banwidth resets at 6:00 PM EST(america)

i think every attempt to download affects the download slots regardless of whether the download pushes on or not. i think that’s the reason why the slots alerter is continuously updating even with the errors and stuff. meaning, a used slot doesn’t necessarily mean someone is downloading. just my two cents. but i’m probably wrong. ^^

the megaupload on the other page is overloading the server. i only have one server w/ 2 cores and it still can;t handle so much traffic and downloads. imagine hundreds are downloading at a time; it affects the speed. i can;t afford a server w/ great connection like rapidshare has. so im trying to put a slot limit on megaupload and it takes a while…

Well, the dedicated server i just bought is acting weird and always crashed.
But after diving in a 13ft. pool, i found out the fix. hope it stays online now.

i don’t recommend IDM like right now as they send so many connections to the server and my firewall blocks them. I don’t have control to it as it’s a dos protection.

this website is only recommended for short files…

well, the coding of the script is not well organized as if anyone press the download button whether there’s available account or none, the slots gets affected.
